Merchant Terms

These terms govern use of Swapify+ by a merchant. Installing the app on a Shopify store accepts them.

The service

Swapify+ provides a branded returns portal for your customers and a console for your staff to review what they submit. It reads orders and products from your Shopify store to verify a customer's request.

It does not issue refunds, move money, create shipping labels, or write anything to your Shopify store. Every financial decision remains yours and is taken in your own systems.

Your data

You own your data and your customers' data. MO TECH Solutions processes it only to provide the service to you, as set out in the Privacy Policy.

You are the data controller for your customers' personal data. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect it and for your own privacy notice covering the returns process.

You may export your data at any time while your account is active. Uninstalling triggers permanent deletion — see the Privacy Policy for the timetable.

Acceptable use

• Use the app only for your own store's returns.
• Do not upload unlawful content, or use the portal to collect data you have no basis to collect.
• Do not attempt to reach another merchant's data, or to probe the service for a way to.

Availability

The service is provided as-is. No uptime guarantee is offered on self-service plans. Where a written service level is agreed separately, that agreement governs.

The app depends on Shopify's APIs. If Shopify is unavailable, order verification will be too; the portal continues to accept requests and verifies them when Shopify returns.

Fees and cancellation

Subscription fees, billing period, and any usage limits are those shown at the time you subscribe. Cancel at any time by uninstalling; the subscription ends at the close of the current billing period and is not pro-rated.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, MO TECH Solutions' total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

Material changes will be notified by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that accepts them.
